Christine is an energetic project leader, creating facilitation processes that maximise engagement. She is used to working with senior professionals including academics, engineers and lawyers. She is a creative, focused and innovative facilitator who creates an engaging and supportive environment so that groups can generate new ideas and approaches to tackle problems. Christine works collaboratively with our clients to bring their vision to life.
Lucy has almost exclusively spent her career working as a workshop, meeting, and conference facilitator. Roles included project management, process focused facilitation and team/group behaviour focused facilitation. Lucy’s current work dovetails all three areas of expertise. She specialises in co-design of workshops, working with clients on shaping the events. Interdisciplinary/ cross functional facilitation and cross-cultural communication is what Lucy is passionate about, seeing strangers or dysfunctional groups start collaborating and achieving results is what energises her.
Elizabeth is a coach and facilitator with strengths in research culture, career development and leadership. She brings a thorough understanding of how support and interventions at individual, team and organisational level can help to embed a culture of creativity and collaboration, where people can grow and develop. She has extensive experience working with researchers and within collaborative, entrepreneurial environments.
Dan is an engaging, collaborative facilitator who brings a unique visual skillset to his design and group work through his experience as a graphic recorder. Dan has a keen understanding of group dynamics from his professional career in project management and Organisational Development roles at large not-for-profit and media organisations. An experienced and respected visual scribe and graphic facilitator, he is adept at listening, summarising, and seeing the bigger picture on any topic as well as utilising a range of visual approaches that help guide participants from complexity to clarity.
Liz loves interacting with people and this shows in her supportive and encouraging facilitation style. She listens and absorbs information quickly to find a way forward in complex and challenging situations. She is particularly experienced in working with professional groups to challenge and stretch them to generate solutions and produce innovative ideas. She enjoys working with mentors to provide information and guidance to ensure that they are prepared for their role in events. Liz is equally experienced at online and in person events and uses a range of tools to aid her work.
Paul has a background in higher and further education, training, coaching, health care provision, retail, and voluntary. He is skilled in encouraging the growth of resilience and cohesion within groups and individuals. With a variety of different approaches and techniques, he is experienced in working with people to break habitual thinking and unlock valuable knowledge within organisations from any sector. Paul prides himself in his ability to encourage employee engagement in positive growth journeys, which align, inspire and motivate with clarity and cohesion.
Matt Lane, PhD, is an international facilitator and researcher developer specialising in in working with research councils and researchers. With a wealth of experience, Matt has been told he just ‘gets’ researchers and the research process. As a result, he is personable and approachable, helping people to find their own impactful solutions to the complex global challenges they work on. Within the CFF programme, Matt specialises in Sandpit and Innovation Lab design and facilitation.
Dr Sandrine Soubes is an energetic and innovative facilitator with extensive experience of research, research environments and of promoting changes in practices that support a positive research culture. Sandrine was part of a team which received the 2014 Times Higher Education Award for Outstanding support for early career researchers. Sandrine creates convivial spaces for groups to boldly explore possibilities for collaborating with authenticity and transparency. Sandrine brings creativity in her approach to ease conversations for groups who may feel they have little in common.
Richard loves to work with groups where he can support them to define their stated goals and outcomes, or to create processes that allow the group to discover these. He is an expert in Agile and Goal Directed Project Management and trained in DISC behavioural insight methodology. As a natural systems' thinker he sees connections and brings innovative dimensions to problem-solving that can create breakthroughs for the client. Richard inspires confidence in participants and stakeholders so that everyone involved feels part of the journey.
Phil delivers results by helping the people in your organisation connect with each other and runs programmes across the world - the real world, and the virtual one too. His expertise ranges from transformational team workshops, through to international programmes and large external audiences, Phil will design, develop, and deliver meetings and events that help clients achieve more. Phil is passionate about making a positive difference in the world through his work with NGOs, third sector and purpose-led organisations.
Dominic is a specialist in leadership and team dynamics, organisational culture and development. Over the past 30 years Dominic has led business development, operational and consultancy teams, delivering growth and change to employer and client organisations alike. With this experience he has found enabling others is the most powerful way to create motivated, successful individuals and teams and so has concentrated on this by developing his facilitation and coaching practice.
Amelia’s background is in research development, research culture and interdisciplinary cross sector collaboration. She recognises that, done well, collaboration should be challenging, if we want to draw meaningfully on diverse perspectives to create the synergy that innovates and catalyses change. She understands that today’s issues are complex, dynamic, and non-linear as are people. She takes an appreciative approach to dialogue, supporting you to find interconnections and shared purpose, and to use paradox as a resource; taking a playful approach to build a supportive environment for experimentation.
Annekatrin is a people-focused facilitator and business mentor with 25+ years of experience, mainly in the Civil Society Sector with small organisations and teams and on a large global scale. She is passionate about helping organisations and teams navigate complex situations and unlock their potential for growth, development, stability, and resilience. As a champion of continuous learning and improvement, Annekatrin’s sense of what could be enables her to weave energy, joy, and creativity into her work, opening safe spaces for dialogue, discovery, collaboration, and co-creation. Annekatrin is fluent in English and German.
Jonathan works alongside Louise to support our larger virtual events by posting links, organising breakout groups and managing the waiting area. Jonathan provides invaluable back of house assistance that helps our events run smoothly and can resolve most technical problems with hosts or participants easily.
